#3: Nashville, Tennessee
Nashville has a reputation for Country music and it’s a well-deserved one. No place in the U.S. has more Country concerts than Nashville does over the course of a year. It’s not even close. If you’re a Country fan, you probably already knew this. Maybe you’ve already visited or want to visit the city.
But that’s not all that Nashville has to offer. There are a lot of other types of music that you will find here, and because concerts are such a huge thing, you’re going to find great music of any sort regardless of when you visit the city. It’s a fun town, and there’s always something going on here. Nashville is one of those must-visit places if you haven’t toured the city before. Checking out a few shows while you’re here will definitely need to be on your list.
Top venues include the Grand Ole Opry, the Cannery Ballroom, and the Ryman Auditorium. Demand for these venues can be high, so tickets do go quick regardless of who’s performing. Because there’s so much music in this town, you’re also very likely to find an amazing concert at a downtown bar. Don’t forget to check these out, too!
#2: New Orleans, Louisiana
New Orleans might not be the official birthplace of Jazz, but it’s definitely become the capital city of the genre over the years. Jazz is a unique blend of music and eventually helped to birth favorites like R&B, Rock, and other types of music, but there’s nothing quite like catching a live show. New Orleans has these events like you will never experience anywhere else.
On many lists, New Orleans doesn’t crack the top ten. But because it offers such a unique feel, the experience that you will have here will always be a memorable one. Whether you’re looking for Jazz, Blues, Rock, or even a festival you’re going to have an amazing time here. Check out what concerts are headed through the city and book tickets now.

There are always mega concerts, resident musicians performing, and smaller shows that pass through the area hoping to ride on the momentum that never seems to leave the city.
